Reminder that Loki, canonically (as in, the canon of Norse religion - fuck those silly comics) once turned into a MARE to (successfully) distract Svaðilfari, the incredibly strong guardian horse of a giant the other gods wished to swindle. Loki is the MOTHER of Sleipnir, Odin's horse. So... nothing weird here.
