I do wonder what caused them to change Shaia's design from these base designs to the Angle Ander one. First idea would be that her original design was too close to the Gowcaizer version of the character, but then you remember that Karin and Nailkaiser's designs are nearly identical to the ones in Gowcaizer, so it can't have been that.
