We cut to a recent past, at school Kanato watched his childhood friend Emika Kyosumi speaking to a girl friend, Riria teases Emika about what she is going to do now that Shirakawa senpai confessed to her, oh come on, Emika tells Riria not say that out loud, what if everyone hears!? Riria laughs, everyone at class knows by now, so what's gonna be? Emika tells Riria she didn't answer Shirakawa yet, what!? Riria can't believe it, he is a super handsome senpai, what's the hold out!?

Kanato can only stay watching from afar, thinking about Emika being the most popular girl in class, best grades, great athletic abilities, proper appearance, bright personality all around, the perfect girl... all the boys have a crush on her, Kanato included, but he hasn't even talked to her since middle school, let alone now in highschool, shit, how did this even happen!? Kanato and Emika live next to each other, they grew up together as close childhood friends, doing everything together, even taking baths but as they grew older Kanato began to realize Emika is a girl, his desires confused him, he feared holding her down, so he consciously put some distance from her, without ever telling Emika why...

Now Kanato is here, regretting his actions now they are older and Emika is the most popular girl in class, an unattainable flower (title drop), that a regular joe like him shouldn't ever approach, but Kanato never stopped desiring Emika, he now understands it is love but Kanato feels he can't do anything but hold onto his feelings and relieve his sexual desires, foolishly hoping he could embrace Emika after all this time, but that daydream is squashed by Kanato thinking of Emika soon to be held by that famed Shirakawa, damn...

Then Kanato's doorbell rings, it is Emika! What!? Kanato asks what is she doing there at his home, but Emika keeps it casual, even though they haven't spoke for a few years at this point, Emika wants to ask Kanato a favor... but first, Emika reminded Kanato how they were always together as children, his room sure hasn't changed much, how about his parents, are they out? Yeah, Kanato says they are both out, his sister Aki too isn't home, I see, Emika says, so she tells what's on her mind: Emika heard one's first time hurts and it could be quite clumsy so she asks Kanato to please "train" with her so she could have her time with Shirakawa in an experienced way, please... Kanato is getting a reality shock, so Emika really is going to start dating Shirakawa then.

However, Kanato sees this as one last chance to embrace Emika, at least the opportunity knocked in, more than what he expected at this point since they drifted apart; sure, it is ok, Kanato accepts Emika's proposal, as he thinks it is a farewell experience from his dear childhood friend. First they take a bath together, again after so long, Kanato is nervous but he approached Emika to take a good feel on her body since they grew older, once rock hard Emika services Kanato, he cums, it was so hot but when Kanato tries to initiate right then and there at the bathroom, Emika says she wants her first time to be on a bed.

Emika is awestruck with Kanato's confession, but why Kanato, you suddenly stopped wanting to be together back in middle school... Kanato exasperatedly apologized, he began to see Emika as a girl then, it made him feel all sorts of things, he was so embarrassed!

Emika cries in relief as she kisses and embraces Kanato, she is so glad, she thought Kanato started to hate her out of the blue, Emika retorted, she would never propose some serious thing such as practice sex with someone she didn't love... eh, what? Kanato asks what about Shirakawa senpai, isn't Emika going to date him? Emika lied, she proposed this to Kanato because she always loved him, she wanted an excuse to consummate her love, and now that Kanato unveiled he feels the same Emika is over the moon.

With those feelings confirmed the love birds now want to make real love, no practice anymore; they don't even care about condoms, Kanato and Emika follow through with wanting to feel each other as close as possible, thus they have amazing sex, several times, till they are fully spent, the two are in awe of how much they did it. It's night, Emika is cutely tugged on Kanato's arm, she wants to stay the night, of course Kanato accepts it, then she gets bratty, wanting to play some video games again, just like old times!

Next day at school all girls approach Emika as if it was emergency! They heard she turned down Shirakawa senpai's confession, what the hell girl!? Everyone thought they would make the greatest couple, but Emika is totally chill, yep she turned him down, she doesn't agree with their assessment about she being a match for him, wait a minute, don't tell us you found another guy!? Emika jolts at that inquiry, saying she has some business somewhere else, hey wait!

In the end, the same narration Kanato made on Emika's introduction repeats: an academic top grader, an all-around great athlete, a primrose beauty whom all boys have a crush on -- all said as Emika rushes out of school -- and of course, his girlfriend! Emika is at Kanato's door, hollering at him, she came to play with him! THE END

Now that's cute, a true serving of Vanilla Ice Cream; at any case this is Novak's second original doujin, in the Afterword he claims his previous one was shorter but here he went for lots of pages in order to flesh the characters some more, something Novak felt it was lacking a little in the previous work, Novak expects to deal with more childhood friends settings in the future.
